I have no doubt there are many errors and omissions on the following pages - just e-mail, and I will correct! If you identify areas I have missed totally (more common phrases, idioms, verbs, dare I say ... mutations) please do send in, together with your own stories for publication - in English and Welsh, of course but do include drawings/photographs where possible, copy is so much more easy to read, speak and write with the help of pictures! If you get it wrong, don't worry ... that is what the site is all about ... learning by having a go and gaining confidence that can be transferred to your spoken Welsh. There are many kind and patient Welsh-fluent people out there who will put learners of this fascinating language right!

If
you are trying to get to learn to write and speak a language (especially one as complex
as Welsh) you will know exactly what I mean - books everywhere, bits of
reference here, crumpled notes there, verbs minus their past, present or
future tenses. Just trying to learn a mutation or write a single paragraph is a monumental task for
learners that
seems to take forever! In this web site I have attempted to help learners
to write and speak Cymraeg and to bring all
these disparate points of reference into a single document that is easy to
use and avoids (I hope) unnecessary pomp and is idiot (like me)
friendly.
